How do you find your Zen place?

Yeah a puppy is a lot of work. I was only thinking the puppy route cuz I have 2 adult cats & thought it would be "easier" if the cats kinda "schooled" him as to how it is in the house. But now thinking about they'd probably all tear the house apart while I was out.

I'm leaning towards the shelter dog & spoke with some people from a rescue group that they can keep a dog with cats, foster home?, to see if the dog can get along with cats. I know ultimately I'd know whenever I did get a dog.

I did that a couple of nights ago. Meat Loaf's "Bat Out of Hell"...windows down..volume full blast...old lady me, in her old Lexus...police pulled up next to me...started singing along...gave me a thumbs up :)

 Too funny!, I can imagine having that on my desk, or hell carry it with me in front of my supervisor the next time they want to write me up. lol 

So funny.  Of all the stessors in my life,  my current boss is a total non issue.  I had my annual evaluation today,  though I've been there 90 days.  She has been there for one week longer than i have.  We spent an hour and a half bull****ting and really just letting each other know that it's okay to tell the other if we have issues.  I really love my job.  

I used to have something very similar to this which was a gift at one place I worked.  Don't need it at my current place of employment, but I still have it in a box somewhere... 

I can't tell you how many of these I have made and given out as gifts! 

Funny that you mention this. I have one in my office. And I bought some for my co-workers. I think I'm going to put it front and center on my desk tomorrow

Only thing I thought about when I saw this was Voodoo donuts in Portland.

I'm glad they are 4 hours south.
