Podcasts for Motivation and Inspiration?

Good morning WLS friends!

This morning, I woke up about an hour before my alarm and was searching through my podcasts for something to listen to while I dozed until my alarm went off.  It got me wondering if there were others out there that listen to as many podcasts as I do and what kind.  I listen to them at work and in my car a lot.  I listen to silly ones about reality TV and pop culture (if you like Bravo shows, Watch What Crappens is absolutely hilarious) but then I have a bunch I listen to about WLS, mindfulness, intuitive eating and weight loss in general.  I love listening to these and they actually really help me if I have a bad day or need some motivation.  I wanted to share my favorites and see if you guys have others you can recommend.  These are the top ones I like:

-   Weight Loss Surgery Podcast - Hosted by Reeger Cortell, FNP

-   Half Size Me

-   Cut the Fat Weight Loss Podcast

-   Insatiable

-   Weight Coach: Permanent weight loss with Joann the Life Coach

Do you guys have any others you listen to that you like? Can't wait to hear about them!  Thanks!

Not weight-loss related, but my favorite podcast is The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe. They have some great science news and it's educational without being boring.

Thank you! I will definitely check it out.  That should balance out the brain-mush I create by listening to reality TV recaps!

I love this American Life and Ask Me Another!  I also liked Serial but they haven't put anything out recently.

I will definitely check the others out! Thanks, Kat!

I have an unbearably long commute, so I am a podcast and audible addict.  Here's my faves:

Dave Ramsey (financial)

The Mortified Podcast (people read things they wrote as kids)

The Memory Palace (history)

Sword and Scale (true crime--probably the best one out there, but

                                             listener discretion advised)

Grownups read things they wrote as kids (self descriptive)

Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People (self descriptive)

Criminal (true crime-not graphic)

Crimetown (organized crime)

Secrets, Crimes, & Audiotape (audio drama)

The Bright Sessions (audio drama)

Lesser Gods (audio drama)

Homecoming (audio drama)

Thank you for the list!  I love true crime novels so I will try some podcasts like that too.  I got SUPER into the first Serial season but couldn't really get into the second one.  Sword and Scale and Criminal sounds really good.

Oooooo I love this thread! Podcasts rule!

I listen to many on the list. Dear Sugar Radio is another favorite.

Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People is one I look forward to every week.

I like Reeger's podcast as well. Was so helpful in my early stages.
