Shoes are a necessity... That's all I used to buy when I was SMO! Got too depressing buying clothes...

Now I have to keep the shoe collection updated to go with all the new clothes! It's a vicious cycle I tell you

Is it just me or did other people's feet shrink?

I sure hope my feet shrink!  When I was normal sized, I wore a 9 in regular medium width.   After gaining weight, I'm a 9.5 wide.  Looking forward to the variety of shoes & boots I can get in medium widths, plus being able to try stuff on in the store and be sure it fits.

Yes. I dropped a full shoe size. Went for a men's 11 to a 10. I had to buy all new shoes.

The upside is that I love shoes, but due to my weight I was constrained to buying only supportive shoes. I did my best with what I could get, but now that those issue are gone my shoes game is ON POINT. My new shoe collection is pretty awesome. And I am always struggling to not keep adding to it!  Completely out of space in our shoe rack. Trying to come up with clever ways to expand the rack so I can keep adding to it. Lol.

I lost almost 2 sizes.  I wear an 8 or 8.5 now depending on the cut, because I do have wide feet.  I used to wear a 9.5 or a 10 at my heaviest.  I can't wear any of my old shoes at all.

I went from a 10 to a 9 or 9-1/2 depending on the brand.  I have moderately narrow feet, so there was some improvement, but not much.  I am excited that with all the weight I've lost, I will be able to tolerate my 3" heels again!  Can't do that at 240lbs!

When I was SMO, I couldn't buy shoes because I have super wide feet and could never find anything to fit me right.  I've gone down almost 2 sizes since I had surgery and can actually wear heels now, so I'm starting to buy more shoes.

I do own a pair of pink Fat Baby's that I've had for nearly 3 years and am still waiting for a chance to wear them lol.  Bear in mind I live in Colorado, EVERYONE wears cowboy boots!!!!

Drives Jim mad, not for buying them, because I have my own money, but the whole boot mausoleum ...
