Using old ID to fly

I will be flying for the first time since surgery next week. It is a domestic flight.  My photo ID is when I was 75 pounds heavier. I recently applied for a new passport but I don't think it will be here in time.

My question is if anyone has had a problem boarding a plane if you don't look like you photo ID anymore?

Thanks

I flew to the OH Conference last year with an ID that showed me 120 pounds heavier.  TSA didn't blink an eye.

This is really weird and not the first time OH has done this.  I'm the one who made this post, but it's showing up with Kathy S's name...

I used my passport for 3 years - after loosing 100 lbs. I didn't have a problem and found out the border service people look at ears to determine if that is the person in the photo.

So the Shakespearian line "lend me your ears" has new meaning.

I flew successfully several Ed until one time I didn't. The officer said I didn't look like my Rd and he insisted a supervisor be called in.  Supervisor finally cleared me, but not before we almost missed our flight.

as soon as we got home, I got anew I'd cause it wasn't worth It to me.

I travel every three weeks or so for work.  I've been using my pre-WLS photo the entire time.  I've never been questioned once if it's me.  Now that you mention it, I'm kinda pissed.  haha...

I was never questioned either. It made me wonder if I really looked that different after all. I don't think the DMV worker even noticed when I went in to renew my DL...haha. Oh wells...
