Minor victories

Today I went to target and bought a scale. I had never owned one before. Scales in stores wouldn't read my weight, I would have had to order a special one from Amazon, so I never bothered. Since losing weight I went and bought a scale at target and it could actually weigh me. In total since January 13th, I have lost 50 lbs. Part of me wishes it was more, but another part of me is just thrilled.

What were your little victories that made your day?

Great NSV, even if it was a scale you bought 

    I love that when I have to wash my jeans I don't freak out at the thought I will have to suffer them being tight until I stretch them out again.  

I've been going up and down stairs quite a bit today and I don't feel like I'm about to have a heart attack. Just tired muscles. 

Woohoo!  That's amazing progress!

My NSV is seeing less back fat today. :)

When I started my journey it never even occurred to me I'd be thin enough to wear a bikini...I have been heavy my whole life... This past week on vacation in Maui I wore a bikini all week, and am trying to embrace the new me!

When I was heavy I did order the special scale on amazon that went to higher weights....Be thrilled with each victory! Don't sell yourself short. There is always a negative we can find if we want, but I choose to live this journey with a 'my glass is half full mentality'....

What an amazing feeling to wear something you never even dreamed of wearing. Right now the thought of a bikini or a bathing suit of any kind is horrifying, but I'm determined to get there. And you're right, it's so easy to see a bad side to the good, have to push that those thoughts out!

I can see my clavicle s... they aren't jutting out or anything but I can SEE them!

 

I remember bones popping out and not being sure if they were really supposed to be there.... What is that??? LOL.
