Captain of that boat! My fourth surgiversary is coming up in about a week, and I'm up forty pounds from my lowest weight, and about twenty from where I'd like to be. Joining you in tracking, upping my exercise, etc. It's rough sometimes. I think the blessing/curse of surgery, or at least my experience with the vsg, is that (especially four years out) I just feel so normal most of the time. It's easy to forget I shouldn't be eating like I used to, or even like many of the people around me. It's easy to "match" your habits to your surroundings. Even at the weight I am now, I still feel and look so much better than I did four years ago that's also tempting to be, like, "eh--whatever, at least I'm not like I used to be." :/ And then you keep thinking that till you wake up one day right back where you were. Or anyway, that's what I'm afraid will happen if I don't get serious.

But I babble! Yes, you are in good company. You can feel well again. I know you can do it.

I have a basement but don't dwell in it full time.
