What are you going to have on Valentines Day?
My Husband I always celebrated on February 13th. It was the anniversary of our first date in 1984. He passed away in December, so this is the first one without him in over 30 years. I'm a little sad but over the shock at least. Take time to celebrate stuff, the memories are worth it.
Sorry for your loss. I sort of relate to that. My mom died 15 years ago on 2/13. She had just turned 50. I now work for the company that took care of her.
So sorry for your losses. My daughter was very ill at this time 12 years ago and died in March, so I re-live it every year at this point. But the good memories are the best ones, so pull them up whenever you can.

I'm happily single, but sometimes it gets a bit much. I'm single the other 364 days a year so why should this one day bother me so much when I didn't like it when I was in a relationship?
So, my daughter and I are off to see a scary film, no popcorn but maybe a few Twizzlers. I'm sure the cinema will be full of couples off to see 50 Shades of Yawning but they're welcome to it!

I recently loss my husband and he spoiled me rotten on V day and every day. Being newly single I am going to use Valentine's Day for self love and value. Bought some flowers and going to treat myself to a mani and pedi at home.
Enjoy everyone and fill the special day with non food options.
