Yeah, you don't want to fly the coop on that.
I would never do that to my wife, but if I did, man would my head be on the chopping block. You could even say my goose would be cooked.

Glad it finally did fly South, too.
I've been struggling with hard boiled eggs lately.
It would seem.....after reading the helpful suggestions in this thread.......that I've been boiling them too long......and leaving in ice cubed water too long.....before trying to peel them.
I can't wait for tonight's salad. I'm going to have hard boiled eggs in it and utilize my newfound methods.

I want eggs now too! I pour about a tablespoon or 2 of baking soda in the water (I just shake the box no measuring), bring to a boil, and take off the heat and let sit for 17 minutes. Then run cool water over them. The shells come off really easily. I forgot the baking soda on my last batch and they're peeling horribly.
