I hit the brick wall, aka plateau

Im religiously following my dietary plan. Walking and drinking as much as I can. More than 64oz water a day, way more. I haven't lost a nickel all week. I'm down about 36# so far and am very, very happy. I'm getting more than 60g of protein a day, i.e., one a premier protein shake at breakfast, and two meals with or chicken, fish, shrimp, or eggs for the other meals. I've added some cooked veggies but just a little. Cauliflower was a huge mistake! I'm barely able to eat one cup of food, many times much less. I'm following all the rules. I can't tolerate food so early in the morning as I get  queezy, I need something in my tummy to take my meds and vitamins. I've added Miralax and on occasion Benefiber as per Doctor.  Blood sugar is normal and so is blood pressure.  Labs to be done next month.

Any suggestions?

Wait it out. Your body is adjusting.  Mine loses inches on a stall.  Stalls are a normal part of weight loss.  Weight loss is not linear... my chart on mfp looks like a mountain range.  It is a bumpy downslope not a smooth one.  You will drop if you are following plan, eating enough, moving your body and getting your water in.

That makes good sense. My jeans are falling off me now. I'm on the traditional phase. I'm still avoiding dairy. I'll see about increasing my activity.

I just do walking at this point.  10,000 steps a day or around 4 miles.

Sounds like you are losing faster than average.  Use the Post Op Planner in Resources at the top of the page to get a good estimate of what to expect each month in weight loss.

Most people take about a year to get to their goal weight.

There is nothing you can do other than stay on your plan. My first stall was a week out post-op and lasted for 22 days. I am currently in another stall that has lasted about 31 or 32 days so far!! It's so tempting to want to change something up but I will just keep doing what I've been doing. This too shall pass!

Not related to my stall but half way through my meal I get a runny nose. Anyone can relate?

Apparently, that's a result of the vagus nerve being severed.  That's MY cue to stop eating.

That particular neve won't grow back together?  I just thought I had some sort of allergy or coming down  with a cold. Who knew?
