Snow Day Thoughts
So - just for some background information - a few facts about Mr. MeanOne.... man is a peach.
He has been with me since I was a 14 year old, drug addicted, high school dropout. Stuck by me through recovery, a pregnancy at 15, getting my GED and struggling through college and graduate school.
He married me, supported me, let me stay home with my sons for 17 years and helped me lose (and gain lol) over 100 pounds 4 times.
Man worked everyday without complaint - then... the icing on the cake... allowed me to CANCEL the family vacation scheduled to celebrate his 50th birthday because my surgery wound up being scheduled for smack dab in the middle of it. Told me the best birthday present he could get was a healthy wife....
So. Do you know when I was thinking about all this?
When I was outside shoveling.... YES. Shoveling! the snow outside.
It has been years.... maybe even decades since I have helped Mr. MeanOne shovel.
So I figured while he was out at work I could help him out and start the shoveling... and since there is no way in hell I'm driving to the gym - get a little workout in as well...
not terribly sure if this is a NSV for me or for him lol
Thanks for listening to me ramble (BTW - I think this is the first thread I've ever started lol)

We have snow to shovel, too, if you're done at home. I am getting ready to saddle up my mighty steed and go clear the parking area and the path over to the barn. The only animals in it are stray cats and various wildlife types, but I need to get into it on a regular basis.
Congratulations on finding a wonderful life partner, and also for getting out there and enjoying the fresh air.
You can come over here, and I'll even let you use my snow thrower.
He sounds like a keeper.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
Ironically we have a snow blower - but I'm clueless about how to use it and I thought it would be quicker to shovel than to try to figure it out...
he is most definitely a keeper :)

I trained Mrs. LittleBillJr on the use of the walk behind. I get to ride, but I also get to spend more time outside. I just posted up my own thread on the downside of WLS and winter sports - as if clearing snow was a sport.
You are a lucky woman!
