Having a rough week

I am sure others have posted that you need to measure all of your food. If you have any crap in the house that may be a trigger get rid of it.
Try to focus in you. Why you had the surgery. Make lists of things you can do now. Thinking we are worth it can be hard after we have abused our bodies for so long it can really throw us off.
Remember don't give up on a day for eating something. You can get right back on track the next meal or snack.
Write down why you are eating to see if it is emotional eating. Or as one of the vets told me drink something before you eat. You may be just thirsty. I try to make sure I have something with me to eat if I am out running around so I don't make a bad food choices. It is easily done when you are hungry to make bad food choices.
Some of the forums have "What are you eating today? It does help to post. Not just to make yourself accountable. But to see what others are eating.
Keep coming here for support. Coming here once in a year and showing how well your doing is great to see. It does help to come here and have others support you and you support them.
We are not fixed after surgery. I wish that was true. So maybe a therapist may help you also.
Hi Jammur,
We have all been there, went though it and survived and you will too If you have not done so post this on the VSG forum and also check out the daily food thread. Great way to get some ideas on what to eat.
Change things up food and exercise wise. Be sure and take photos once a month and measurements. You will find when the scale is not moving your photos and measurements will help get you over the speed bump. I went through a 9 week stahl and almost lost my mind but got through it. Once the scale started moving again it never stopped.

Thanks for all the great advice, and especially for the encouragement.
I know one trigger is watching TV and I have decided to really cut that down and completely eliminate it on some nights. I also decided to get more sleep, as I was down to 6 hours a night. It has helped. I stopped gaining and I lost one of the pounds I gained already.
If I haven't mentioned it, I have to tell you all, your support means the world to me.
