And the remission for PCOS (for most people) is to not be super morbidly obese.

I have delivered babies to MO women with PCOS, so it is possible, but highly unlikely. My sister was diagnosed at normal weight, and went on to have 3 children without fertility treatment.

In fact she is healthier th Han us all. She has a normal anatomy and even women in normal weight have cysts.

She's done the remarkable loved herself and did not choose to self mutilate
