What are your routine/s to start the day?

Sorry.  I forgot that part. It varies. Sometimes I have scrambled eggs. Sometimes fried eggs. Today I totally ruined a pair of poached eggs. They came out like white and yellow wheel chocks. But most days it is two eggs and an ounce of cheese. That can vary as well - gouda, colby jack, pepper jack, sharp cheddar. Every now and then I'll fry up a few slices of bacon, but not very often.

Wake up. Take my Prilosec. Do my stretches. downstairs to the kitchen. Feed the kitties. Make my protein shake and drink it sitting in front of my light box for 45 minutes while checking emails and Facebook. Then my day starts.  Not a very exciting morning routine. Can't wait till it includes a cup of coffee!

I hate to sound dumb or old but what is a "light box"?  Is that for when you need to get sun and it's winter?

Yes, it's used to mimic natural sunlight and prevent depression in the winter. I moved back to the gloomy northeast this winter after living in Colorado for years (300 days of sunshine, even though it's cold in winter) plus I was outside 4 days a week or more when I lived in Colorado so I'm needing a little help to adjust to most days being overcast.

take vitamins, weigh myself, feed cats, eat breakfast, make protein shake/latte and pack lunch, shower, dress, out the door, stop by a coffee shop - sometimes to get a coffee to go, other times to hang out for an hour or so and read my email (and post my menu!), then into the office....

Monday through Friday is usually the same, wake up go to the restroom, strip to weigh myself then do a few miles on the treadmill, shower, wake up the kids, do my makeup and hair, then eat breakfast ( one egg a sprinkle of reduced fat cheese and two turkey sausage links), get dressed and go to work.  I am a creature of habit. 

Had VSG on 9/28/15

Lost 161 lbs since surgery, LOST 221 lbs overall so far!!

Habit can be a good thing...  I am so strange, I will find a new thing to eat and eat it over and over again until I am sick of it and never eat it again LOL  Great routine, thanks for sharing...

Exercise (running+stretching, yoga, fitness classes)
Drink shake
Shower
Get dressed
Get on with my day!
