How do you "reward" your goals?
For me it's the thrill of getting some new piece or two of clothing as things just get too big to wear anymore. I don't spend much, try to stick to sale items or thrift stores but it's such a kick buying the smaller sizes and then slipping them on and they fit!! I just ordered 1X tops from an online thrift site I use, and I am so excited. I haven't worn a 1X in nearly 30 years!!!
I thought I'd be all over rewards, but really, I lost interest in them. I get to a goal, I'm excited, then almost right away, I'm onto the next one. Tick! Next. Hitting those goals becomes very rewarding in and of itself.
I also realized that I'd rather spend that money on having a few pieces of properly fitting clothes at every size. And in my case, dropping sizes has never coincided with the losses on the scale.
I do think I'd like to plan a trip as a final goal reward. however, I'm too far out to even pick a final weight, so I don't really have a timeline to even consider, and haven't given it much thought, other than in the abstract.
But here's a few I had on my list before I dropped them: clothes (regular, and gym), massage, pedicures, fitness equipment(like a new yoga mat, Fitbit, paid apps) if you have a hobby, something towards that.

For me I haven't really set many small goals. I have tried to stay focused on my main end goal and when I reach that my reward is going to be a new tattoo. I have only a few tattoos and for me they have to mean something so when I reach my main goal it will be a permanent reminder of all the hard work it took to get to goal and it will be motivation to stay at goal.
Had VSG on 9/28/15
Lost 161 lbs since surgery, LOST 221 lbs overall so far!!
Massage and chiropractor appointment. That really helps with my body adjusting to lower weight. Center of gravity moves. Things move and back pain or shoulders pain is very common as we lose weight.

I started off getting pedicures every 10 pounds. But then I got to the point where the weight loss and this new life of mine was reward enough and motivating enough.
