I have never watched it.  Do I really want to?

I've never seen the show but the commercials make me want the slap the stupid out of her.

I refuse to watch that program!

I prefer to watch 600# Life. Some of them take a path I would not wish for them but then there are others that "get" it.

Hi Christine,

When I first started watching I was so impressed with her helping young girls not feel bad about themselves. But after a few seasons and her health going down hill her head in the sand issues just got to be too much for me.  I keep hoping she will face her health issues.  Now a pregnancy?

I haven'****ched this season yet but I have watched previous ones.  I really liked Whitney in the beginning but once I saw that she wasn't really making strides to improve her health or mobility at all, it got frustrating.  At this point, she can't even tie her own shoes or shave her own legs. For me, that would have been a huge wake up call but she really hasn't tried to change much about her weight.  I'm not saying she needs to be skinny or even lose 100s of pounds but I wish she would take changing her eating habits seriously so that she can accomplish every day activities. I'm all for body positivity and loving yourself at every size but when it starts to hinder your activity and health, it's time to wake up!

I watched it once or maybe even twice.  I found her appalling in every way.  Nothing about her appealed to me.  She's an obese narcissist drama queen incapable of learning.

Not my idea of entertainment.

I started off loving her body positivity activism, and adore her parents.

I appreciated it when she was tested and found to be borderline diabetic, and she got serious about being more healthy.  But it became obvious that she has rules about what people are allowed to say to her about her diet and she's not serious about improving her health.  She had a meltdown because her trainer was asking her to send him pictures of her food, and trying to get her to eat more than once a day.  She likes being fat, and wants to promote the idea that fat can be healthy.  She just wants to be a little less fat because she recognizes that she's not healthy.

Also, I love that she is dancing because she loves to dance.  And I love that she's giving other people the opportunity to love to dance as well, regardless of if they fit the dancer stereotypical body or not.  But honestly, I have worked with a lot of dancers in theatre growing up, and her dancing is really nothing to write home about.  And it's not because she's big, it's because she's just not that good of a dancer.

I keep wishing that she would come to realize that she has a VERY unhealthy relationship with food, and show the world a middle ground between fat acceptance and health.

I just can't bring myself to watch it.  I see the commercials for it and I think she would get on my nerves
