Clothing Sizes
This will differ for everyone greatly. I don't think dropped a clothing size until 8 weeks out- cause reality was the clothes I was wearing was tight. So they just fit better.
Once I got into a groove losing- I was in a smaller size every 6 weeks. I was in a tight 26 and now am in a 10/12.

I read a helpful analogy once. Think of your body at your highest weight as a brand new roll of paper towels. If you take a sheet or two off, the roll still looks the same. But as the roll get toward the end, taking two sheets off leaves the remaining roll looking noticeably smaller. 40 pounds at the beginning doesn't make much difference at the start size-wise, but as you lose more you'll get smaller faster and fly through sizes. When I lost weight last time, I think it took 50 pounds to drop a size, but closer to my goal it was about 15 pounds per size.
I LOVE this analogy. I'm going to steal it.

I lost weight last in the spots that needed it the most. It sucks, but this is what happened for me. I had to have lip to really get rid of the saddlebags (and had the fat trasferred to the breasts). Dr Michaels is the best

The same is true for me... it is simply the way that it works. I also got to a healthy BMI and was actually quite thin in places but still held a lot of residual fat and lots of loose skin in other places. I had a brachioplasty done in July and they removed over 4lbs of skin and fat. then 10 days ago I had a full abdominalplasty, breast lift with augmentation. Again on my stomach I carried a lot of residual fat and a lot of loose skin.
My poor breasts were empty....as is my butt. Now my breasts look fantastic as does my stomach. I have no idea if I will ever do anything with my butt or thighs but I know it wont be anytime soon. I will have to save up both my money and patience for recovery. I feel like I have been recovering for years now and I basically have.
Glad the worst is over! Hopefully it is for you as well.
