Patch MD question

I've got a few question for all of you who use the patch.

1-Just got mine yesterday for the forst time and the package states it is no****erproof.  Does this mean that if wet your body no longer absorbs or just that it may fall off in the water?

2-Do you leave it on for 24 hours or take it off while you sleep?

3-if going on vacation lets say to a beach resort would you just use the patches or take vitamins instead since you would be in and out of the water all day?

Thank you everyone in advance.

They will likely fall off in water, and or lose their vitamins.   When I go to a resort, I will be wearing them at night instead of the day.  They only need to be on for 8 hours.   I generally leave the on 24 HRs just because seeing them is the visual trigger to remember to put on new ones.

Vitamin Patches are best to put on before bed (except the B12) and take off in the morning.  Generally, you wear them for 8 hours but do not want to shower for at least an hour after taking the patch off.   Patches are no****erproof, so don't waste money and put them on if you are going to be near or in water.

Here is my routine:  Multi, Vitamin D with Calcium is put on before I go to bed, remove them when I get up (if I don't get 8 hours of sleep remove after they've been on at last 8 hours).    I put on B12 and Iron before I leave for work.

I put on B12 and Iron before I leave for work and take off when I get home.

Thank you so much for this info, I didn't know it was better to put them on in the evening.  Today was my forst day and I put it on in the morning.  I will do that moving forward.  This also solved the vacation/swimming issue as well :)

You can actually wear them anytime during the day or evening.  For me, it is best at night.   When I have worn them during the day, somehow all my moving around they tend to loosen.  So, I started doing them at night, except the B12/Iron.   I do wear these during the day, but I have them in places that my clothes don't rub against too much and they stay put better.

Just find a good routine that works for YOU!   But, definitely, wear them at least 8 hours a day and do not shower with them or they stick like glue.

Ditto to what Nikki said but I do find I can workout and sweat and they don't fall off!

I was putting mine on in the morning but then was trying not to get it wet. So I switched to putting on a new one after I took my shower in the evening and that seems to work for me better.

also I contacted the company because I was having some trouble keeping mine on- and they suggested putting some rubbing alcohol on the spot you were applying it to first then applying and that has made a huge difference.

I wear 4 of them at the same time in the same place every day. I get up, shower, dry off, brush my teeth, put my make up on and just before I get dressed I put my 4 patches on - Multi, Iron, B12 & Vit D & Calcium. I put them on my lower belly, just underneath where my elastic waistband of my underwear sits.  They have never moved, never fallen off and are actually crazy sticky still when I remove them at night. I wake up at 5am so I am putting these on at 5:15am and take then off around 10pm.

If I was to swim or be in the ocean on vacation I would still bring/wear the patches I would just wear the patches overnight.  I don't wear them over night for 24 hours b/c I worry about skin irritation but otherwise I think they are perfect and I love them.

Hope you love them!
