NSV
Last night I was feeling weird and started getting blurred vision in one eye so I checked my blood pressure. I got to use the normal sized cuff! It's a small NSV of many, but for some reason I've always had an issue having to use that GIANT cuff! I guess because at the Dr. the nurses always tried the normal cuff and then would have to switch to the giant one. It got on my nerves like they did it on purpose lol.
Turns out I was having an aura migraine. I've had them before with no head pain just the strange swirly colors but this time I did get a manageable headache. I don't think I've ever had a full blown migraine before.

Great NSV with the BP cuff, but I'm sorry for the migraine. My mother used to get those years and years ago. She's been gone over 10 years. It was back in the late '70's and it took her doctor forever to figure out what it was... blurry vision in one eye, but no pain and then it would go away as fast as it came.

Love the NSV! It's been a pet peeve of mine as well, the insistence on trying the normal cuff. I got to the point where i just told them before they had a chance to reach hahha
My dad has the same type of migraine, occasionally, and it's happened only once to me. Such a strange feeling!

I get those same aura migraines. Even more weird when it happens to both eyes and they "swirl" in different directions! Although, mine are usually a precursor to a full on migraine.
Mine too but try the coffee!! It does something to the membranes in your head!
