NSV (my smile for the day)
Today I had a nice little NSV. Last night I got a call from a fellow employee, asking if I could cover his shift. I'm retired but picked up a part-time job to get me out of the house. Anyhow, I said that I could help him out. I forgot that I had left my jeans in the washer, and was worried that I was going to end up late waiting on them to dry. I had been given a bunch of hand me downs (stinks constantly buying new clothes as the pounds have come off). I had a few pairs of 32's that were a tad on the tight side a few weeks back. In desperation I gave them a try this morning and found that they fit perfectly. Along with another notch on the belt!
I know going from a 34 to a 32 is not a huge jump but it is considering 7 months ago, I was jumping between 44/46. Now if I can only figure out how to get taller! I swear I am shrinking as I get older.
lol That's better than my experience last week! I knew I had regained 13 pounds, which really is not a great amount, but I grabbed a pair of jeans off the back of the chair to go volunteer. They were a little snug pulling them up but the button was really hard and getting the zipper was near to impossible!! I was really distraught!! Finally I took them off, almost crying and then noticed they were a size 6!! My grand-daughters!! I take an 8 and happily put them on!! Whew!!
To Thine Own Self Be True!!
Don't diminish your progress! Smaller sizes ROCK!
Congratulations!!!

A size 30 is hard for me even to contemplate but then again so was a 32x32 about 7 months ago. I know I am smaller now than when I was playing football in high school back in the 80's. It has definitely been many moons since the last pair of 32's. I am working towards 170-175, so there is the chance I might see a pair of 30's in the future. In the meantime I will keep the fingers crossed.
