Please say it will get better?

Thank you! I stopped vomiting before I left the hospital. I'm still taking Zofran twice per day just to help me be able to get fluids and eat. I actually feel SO much better this morning. I think I was having a bit of a breakdown when I wrote that post last night.

It is okay to have break downs. It happens. The surgery and life changes are emotional.

It's most important to stay hydrated right now and keep your electrolytes up. You need some sodium for that. Chicken broth or something like pedialite may help you feel better.

...and totally ok for you to have a breakdown and post it!  My first several weeks were just horrible.  It was hell just walking around the house.  Never mind getting protein in and water was so nasty tasting.  But it gets better, and if you read through the posts you will pick up tips here and there.  I add diet cranberry juice to my water.  I bought the Syntrax fuzzy navel for a juice-like drink that was not milky.  I started heating up my Premier Protein shake to have with coffee as creamer.  I added cottage cheese and greek yogurt.  I stopped forcing myself to eat meat until I felt more ready.

IT GETS BETTER!  And wait until you have lost a significant amount of weight... that is so motivating.
