What's this "Hag" business? Newcomer needs to know.

Dont feel bad, Ive been here longer than most (not all but most) of the "Hags" (2005) and I didnt even know. It seemed to have happened during my internet hiatus (aka I was too busy living life to come on, lol).

There's definitely something special about going off and living your life ...  unlike us boring people, who have no life, so stay to pay it forward

Feel bad about it?  No time for that.  I have too many other things to feel bad about.  My plate is full, so to speak.....Did you say living life?  What's "life?"  I'm learning so much at OH!

I remember y'all explaining that shortly after I joined. And it's why I knew my fellow bannees from the site that shall not be named would be just fine over here!

I am not yet a Hag, but I hope to one day become one.

In my case, it will mean "Hostile And Grumpy".

Back in 2008 the Hags were the ones I wanted to listen to but then stopped coming to the site and forgot their wisdom.  Last year when I revised to VSG I vowed I would listen this time and so far have reset my brain and have been successful.  Changing your mind about food is the only thing that works and sometimes the people who speak the truth don't make you feel good but it's good advice anyway.
