I think biggest my non-weight related goal was to weigh less than my husband. Surpassed that so much that he can easily pick me up :-)Ssecond biggest was to wear a size 12-- done.

Another I had was to be able to have a regular towel wrap around me-- check. Fitting normally into an Airplane seat, restaurant booth, check check.

Goal I still have: to reach my selected weight goal.

5'6.5" High weight:337 Lowest weight:193/31 BMI: Goal: 195-205/31-32 BMI

Oooo, my husband being able to pick me up would be a great goal, adding that to my mental list

I love reading everyone's goals!

We have some many common concerns!

As a family, we are avid (fanatic) Walt Disney World visitors - and recently Universal Studios in Florida.  Our first trip to Universal was my "wake up" call for weight loss.  Although, we always fly to Florida and I had to ask for an extender on several occasions, and make sure that my two teenage daughters sat on both sides of me, so that I could somewhat comfortably sit in my airplane seat, it was Universal Studios that made me look into WLS.  As some of you may know, Walt Disney World is very plus size friendly.  I never had issues on any of their rides, but Universal isn't so accommodating.  Our very first ride during our very first Universal Studios trip in August 2015, I went to check the "test seat" and I DIDN'T FIT.  That happened on several of their rides.  No one was mean to me and my family took it in stride, but I was horrified.  Shortly after we returned home from that vacation, I started my research on WLS.  I guess I can thank Universal Studios for my almost 100 pound weight loss so far.

Fast forward.  We returned to Universal in early August 2016 - just a few weeks before my surgery and I was able to ride MOST of the rides (after my 30+ lbs pre-surgery weight loss).  That felt good, but not as good as it felt when we were there last month (December 2016) and I could ride what ever I wanted!!  And on the flight out, I sat next to my husband on the airplane!

We will be back to Florida again in March 2017 with visits to both Universal Studios and Disney.  Looking forward to having even less weight to carry around with me!

So, some goals accomplished.  More to go:

   Get to onederland

Be half the person I was from my first weigh in with the nutritionist

Shop in any clothing store I want - and NOT in the plus size section

Quit telling myself it is too hard to exercise (because I'm too fat!)

Being able to ride my bike without feeling like I'm dying, lmao.

Be able to fit into a size 5 again (I'm currently a 10-12).

Be able to do the crane pose in yoga again, without feeling like I'm about to fall on my face.

Be able to run a mile without feeling winded.
