Share Your Goals!
Goals are just an updated word for dreams if you ask me. Without dreams we are dead inside and when you live the life of a fat person we stop dreaming. I often tell people I interact with to create a WLS bucket list.
My first goal was to ride a bike. I loved riding my bike, but as a fat person I couldn't because the seat would kill my butt, legs would rubbed together and never learned how to balance with an extra 200 pounds.
What was the first goal you achieved after your surgery or one you want to achieve?

VSG 2013, RNY conversion 2019 due to GERD. Trendweight here!
When I began thinking about surgery my focus was all about health and comfort. I had gotten to the point where my legs hurt so bad and I was uncomfortable being on the floor with my pre k students.
So my goals were pretty much to be pain free and energetic enough to do my job. Not very exciting.
Now that im 70 pounds down and I have met those goals - I'd really like a normal BMI and to complete a mud run. ?
But they were exciting to you and that is what counts ThatMeanOne. Let's be honest at least for me it was the smallest things I dreamed of. Being able to walk through the grocery store without having to stop and sit. Bend down to put my shoes on. Shower without feeling like a did a marathon!
Those are great goals and I have heard those mud runs are fun! GO FOR IT!
