Why we should watch my 600 pound life
She royally pissed me off last season when Will her personal trainer was giving her grieve and all she could do was cry and make excuses. Then when she went to her parents anniversary dinner and bragged how she wasn't going to take pictures of what she was eating like Will asked her to. The look on her dad's face was heart breaking.
If I ever had to have my mother or husband shave my legs for me because I couldn't is the day I would be looking into losing weight by either myself or surgery.
If she thinks she is going to live a long happy life she is in for a rude awakening.
Mt Fab ife reminds me of how complicated being MO is for her and was for me. Life is so much less complicated on the post-WLS life.

I'm hoping the upcoming season has her seeing reason. She went back to her trainer at the end of last season and I saw clips of her at a much smaller size than she was with her current hair style. I'm behind the no body shaming movement but not the "fat lifestyle" acceptance movement. I almost joined NAFTA years ago until I saw their message was not basic respect or anti-body shaming or but about living a healty lifestyle as a fat person, but for being fat for the sake of being fat. It was the same message she was sending last season.
I much prefer the show "Fat Doctor". It's a British show and you can find it on YouTube. The surgeon on the show is a compete doll and much more empathetic than Dr.Now. It also features less super morbidly obese people and closer to the the obesity level more of us can relate to. It is mostly RNY. Check it out!
I did see the Candi/Brandi show. Heartbreaking. But there's a show on Fat Doctor in season 2 that will devastate you.
BE STRONGER THAN YOUR EXCUSES.

I can't believe the variety of surgeries Dr. Now performs, plastic surgery, bariatric, repairs, etc. He is a Jack-of-all-trades. He does come across as kind of methodical, cold. He must have a big heart given what he does.

I will check out the other show. What I like about these shows is that most do make positive changes eventually.
