If anyone is ever in SE Michigan, Eastern Michigan University has DEXA Scan with body composition for under $50.  I am going to have another done in the next few months.

I remember that you got yours at a a decent price at a university. I have at least 5 major universities around here, and none of them offered this (that I could find).

I'm scheduled for Friday morning!

It really is nice to see the numbers.  It made me feel better about my body.  I'm glad you're able to get one!

I was also going to suggest that people look into local universities as I have gone to Eastern Michigan for a scan as well.  Seems prices in other areas maybe a little higher than southeast Michigan in general though.  There is a doctor's office that does them in Metro Detroit and they only charge $100 ($120 if you want to doctor to interpret the results for you).  I had one done at EMU, then had a follow up done at the doctor to avoid the long drive.  Since the results had already been explained to me at EMU, I just took the $100 option.

Anyway, best of luck, the DEXA body composition scan results are really interesting, and very detailed!  Especially when you have repeated ones as you can see results of working out.  For instance, on my latest scan, my lean mass was up about about 7 lbs from 6 months or so ago.  It's nice to see that the time spent at the gym is producing some results.
