I love coming here and seeing all of the posts and advise from all of you. I was wondering if anyone had any advise or suggestions for me as I get things ready before the big day?? All input is appreciated. Thanks all!!

Congratulations!!!  There were a couple of recent posts that pertained to surgery prep.  They were very detailed.  Keep scouring you will find them.  Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing you here again.

CONGRATS!!! I don't think I used a single thing I brought to the hospital. Maybe just my chapstick.

Totally agree.  I only took my phone and things that I could throw out (other than my phone).  I took old glasses in case I left them on the tray and they got thrown out.  I took magazines to read and left them.  I did not want to worry about losing anything.  I agree with the chapstick, but the hosp had vasoline and did the trick.

Start getting yourself ready by taking small bites now and chewing them well.  Eat 5-6 small meals a day.  Start your vitamins and try to get in at least 64 oz. of water a day.

You will need a robe and some lip balm......a change of clothes and clean underwear....house shoes/slippers.  The hospital will have everything else that you need...

Oh...and a good attitude always helps!

Congratulations!  It will be here before you know it!

I was in the hospital for 3 days -- I had to call in extra clothes from home.  Other than that I used my phone, read a book and used chapstick.

I didn't bring much else.
