I just had my 6 month check up and I have lost 101 lbs.  Yeah for Me!  Anyway, I am 151 right now and want to get to 140 or maybe 130.  Having a bit of a stall, do you think I will lose more?  Dr. says I have 6 months more of weight loss but how does my body know when to stop?  Feeling great here!

Nobody has completely disappeared yet.  I was 142 at one year and 128 at eighteen months.

I'm still losing (albeit very slowly) at 19 months out - but then, I started out much heavier than you.  You may very well lose some more.  Every time I hit a stall, I think that's it - but then it starts up again!

I'm still losing - 1 year out dec 15, will continue until I waste away. I'm at 125 now. Don't let anyone discourage you or tell you not to lose anymore if you want to. Also do not listen to the people that tell you that you are too tiny.

As long as you keep your protein up, liquids in and carbs down and under your calories you will lose.

Your body doesn't "know" anything. If you cut calories enough, for long enough, you could conceivably get down to 90 pounds.

The further out we get, the harder it gets. But if you keep working hard, you could reach 130. It might require some adjustments, but you can do it.

I was 151 at my one year appointment and lost down to 140 by the time I was 19 months out. ( Then I went off the rails and gained 15 lbs back. I've lost 10 of it. ) If you stay on track, you'll definitely be able to lose more.

I lost for 14 months before I started slowing down.  Stalls come and go, and as you get closer to a normal weight, the body wants to naturally slow down losing.  Just keep doing the right things and I'm sure you'll be fine.
