Heated Gloves???!

I had a nice pair in my old car... but I did leave them in the car, or else I'm sure I would have forgotten them! So they were cold to start out with...

Thing is, when I go out to feed the horses, I have a nice pair of Isotoner 'thick' snow gloves... I end up pulling my fingers into the palm area because my fingers are cold all separated like that! (and I can't use mittens for horses or driving)

I know a thing or two about cold hands when driving to work, this week has been around -25c in Calgary when I start my morning commute, which is thankfully only 30 minutes.

I've tried various gloves, all non heated, but the ones that have been the warmest also don't allow for proper grip of the steering wheel. I now have regular leather gloves which grip well and keep the worst of the chill off and a sheep's skin steering wheel cover that I picked up from a craft show (look up SunnysideUpSheepskin on Etsy for the same thing, they deliver worldwide) It's been the best solution for me so far.

I was thinking about a steering wheel cover! That might be a great solution (aside from trading my beloved-not-yet-paid-off-car for one with a heated steering wheel!).

Why not buy a heated steering wheel cover that you can plug into the cigarette lighter. I saw some on Amazon.

Go to the sporting goods store or motor cycle store.  Bikers and hunters have heated gloves that can be charged up.

That's what I've been looking at online... I'm far too lazy to find a hunting/cycle shop!

I would do a search on pintrest and make you some hand warmers. I think fabric and buckwheat is what you need. you can heat in micro and throw them in your pockets.

In theory, this is a great idea... in reality, you are asking me to possibly sew... cut... glue something and expect it to actually resemble whatever it was that I was making.... this is not a good reality for me

I don't even 'do' Pinterest... that's too crafty for me!
