Seeking Information

I am looking at a revision from lapband to sleeve or alternative. I am looking at Dr Valenzula at Mexico Bariatric. I would love input from those with experience in Mexico with revisions.

In 10 years I've never heard anything negative about this doctor. I am still very cautious about getting surgery outside the country-I've thought about going to brazil for plastics- but decided against it.

Yes, be very careful about going out of the US for surgery. Many doctors back here will not touch a patient once they have surgery in MX. My surgeon is one of them.

There is a revision & a Mexico forum, you might want to cross post your question over there. However do be careful, you should secure follow up care with someone here in the states. A lot of surgeons won't touch another surgeons work & some may not want to treat you here. Many people are so concerned with the surgery they kinda neglect the followup care that is needed... for life!, in order to stay healthy.
