Yea!  All went well. I'm a bit bloated from all the fluids. It will get resolved. Surgery went well, it was RNY. I'll post more later when I'm a bit more coherent.

Congratulations!  It's totally normal to have a weight increase due to the fluids. I was up 12 pounds when I went home from the hospital. Your body will flu**** out. Just keep sipping and moving as much as you can.

I'm itchy now. Either it was the binder which I'm not wearing or a reaction to the injectable blood thinner I'm using. I just called my doctor and my BF will go pick me up some liquid Benedryl. I'll need to dilute the dose.  Other than that I'm still sore. Sip sip sip and walk walk walk. Using my IS 10x an hour. Has some  Fairlife skin milk.  I have a set schedule of full liquids. Not hungry at all. The first time in my life I have no appetite at all.  This board has helped me get over my fears. I appreciate all the replies I have received.

I researched the itch. Reaction from Oxycodone. It releases histamines which cause me to itch. So I'm taking Benedryl; liquid.

Congrats on getting through the surgery!  I had mine on 12/14. I am so glad to be home!

I am just curious - how long will you be on the liquid diet? And did your surgeon tell you when you can take a bath? (I know I have already posted this question! LOL I am just really wanting to take a bath soon, so asking everyone!)

Full liquids for two weeks. I don't remember about the bath as I only gave a shower.

Not well this morning. Still feel a bit itchy. Welts and redness on tummy and back still present.

Even though the milk is lactose free I'm having bad #2 in bathroom.
