My surgery is scheduled for December 30th.  I'm concerned that I won't be released til January 1st.  Will I have to meet 2 deductibles/out of pocket?

No, because it would be for the same episode of care. Once you are discharged, any appointments after January 1 will go toward you deductible.

Check with your drs office, but I am pretty sure that the surgery cost covers the first couple of post-op visits.  I don't know about the bill ittself. There is an insurance specicalist in your docs office - check with them just ot be sure

I think your deductible applies to the time of the operation, so that would mean it would apply to your 2016 deductible.
