Compression sleeves?
Hello all! I've been doing way better than before, losing at a little faster rate, and happy about that! So on to my question. :)
Have any of you tried compression sleeves for your arms? While losing, I have heard that these sleeves "train" the arms a little better and also help to lock in moisture so that the skins elasticity is helped. The compression also training them. My coworker's mother had gastric bypass a few years ago, and she looks great. She was wearing some compression sleeves she bought from Hamrick's. (Local store, dunno if many of you will know them.) But anyway, I thought it was a three quarter length under shirt, and it was the type of material I was looking for to keep dog hair from accumulating in my elbows while I groom. (If you have ever clipped a dog, or cut human hair, you know the tiny short hairs that embed in your skin sometimes.) So I asked her about it, and she explained. She said it doesn't completely tone the skin but it helps. I wonder if you guys ever used these, and what your experiences were? Even if it doesn't help with my arms, (I have really large arms compared to my upper body, as well as thighs and hips...) I would still like to try them. It would be cooler than wearing a 3/4 length under shirt, and help keep the dog hair out of my elbow creases. Please if you have experience, let me know how it was, and if you liked them or not, and what brand you used, etc. THANKS!!!

There is nothing you can do to "tone" damaged skin. It will be what it is. I hate to be the bubble popper...but the best thing you can do is save up for plastic surgery if you think you'll end up with a lot of hanging skin.

Don't think I'll ever be able to afford that surgery, but the sleeves will at least hold everything in while they're on! Lol

The only thing they'll do is make your arms look "compressed" while wearing them. Once you take them off, your arms will look the same way as before. The only thing I use compression sleeves for is running if my arms need an extra layer of fabric and the rest of my upper body doesn't.

Still, it'll be nice to not have them clapping about freely lol

For sure - like for running! But they won't permanently change anything. Sadly.

Hello
Read this Thread, printer earlier this year >>>> http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/amos/6003340/Arm-spanx/
With this info - I ended up buying the "Sleevey Wonders" 3/4 sleeve in white and black and I LOVE them!!
Light weight - conforming -- they do come in long sleeve
Purchasing them thru AMAZON - there was a cost savings https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=sleevey+wonders&t ag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=139814076955&hvpos=1t1&hvnet w=g&hvrand=15625803260373449007&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvde v=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9018987&hvtargid=kwd-871969 65619&ref=pd_sl_6x3i7qxhve_e
Don't get the terminology of Compression sleeves in the sense of medical term used for treating Lymphedema that I have experience with in right arm due to history of Breast Ca. Those are very compression like and a glove most times need to be worn.
But the Sleevey Wonders are like ' compression" like what athletes will wore as compression shorts. These won't ' train' your arm -- but I believe will assist in the fact you won't have hanging underarm skin - that continues to hang and hang -- lets support it with this sleeve so the hanging skin u may have doesn't lose more elasticity!
Below is what I ordered -- hope this helips
