I love mine.  I've made yogurt every week or so since I got it last January :)

Spoken like a sleever!  :P  I must be honest, yogurt is one of the things that I miss since having RNY.  it is a slider food, so now the only yogurt I really get is tzaki on my zucchini coins!  :)

You eat my yogurt portion for me. I will eat your chicken portion. About 20 years ago when I was in alabama, there was a gal that made THE BEST chicken in a pressure cooker. It was moist and juicy. I wanted to try but was too scared cuz in my childhood I met an old lady that was scarred from an exploding pressure cooker.

On one of the manuals linked at this site, someone said to read the manual to get the idea of Instant Pot exploding out of our heads.

I understand not everything is full proof, but i like that this product appears much safer than the pressure cookers I grew up with.

Moist turkey, cornish hen, duck, and other poultry-I am coming to eat you!

Turkey breast in it??  O.M.G!!  Ribs!!!!

I cook with yogurt but if I eat it by itself, it can be a slider for me too. If I plan to eat it for breakfast, I add TVP to give it some body and crunch (and I make it greek style so it's thick).  I also mix 2 cups with a small box of SF pudding (cheese cake is AWESOME!) and make a dessert.  It can be kind of thick so I'll add 1/4 -1/2 cup of either the drained whey or whatever milk is in the house (cow or nut) to make it a little creamier.

Hi Alouisa,

Does the stir fry function work well?Does it really brown like it says in the video?

Thank you in advance for your response.

there isn't a specific "stir fry" function but the saute function does brown meat.  Is that what you're asking?

Yes, I want to brown meat in it, so that I don't have to clean another pan.

Thank you.

depending what/how much I'm browning, I'll use a frying pan.  Cleaning the extra pan is easier than doing it in batches in the bottom of the pot.

I never thought about mixing SF pudding mix with yogurt to make a dessert - that sounds awesome!

It really is!  The only flavor I don't like is chocolate.  I just don't think it works well with yogurt but the banana, vanilla, pistachio and cheese cake?  OMG!

I've always wanted to try pistachio pudding, but I've never been able to find a sugar free version.  Not sure if our stores just don't carry it or...?  Or do you just use the regular pistachio?  I suppose if you're mixing it with 2 C of yogurt, there isn't going to be much sugar in any one serving (as opposed to if you make it the standard way...)
