"There is life after being a newbie." I'm ok with my new life not having binges like you described. They were what got me to 375# to start with. Through all of this I've realized that it's not what's on the plate that matters but who's in the seats. The good news for you? Christmas is in only 30 days and you can do it all over again!! Indulge and binge!
I agree you have to like yourself. I happen to like myself and like to eat. :D I also like not sticking out like a sore thumb....and being able to eat the same foods nd the same amount of food as/with my friends and family..
I've maintained a 300 lb weight loss for 10 years with the DS.....I have the VSG on top....but have the power of malabsorption to assist in weight loss maintenance. It works for me.....i know that a restriction only surgery would have failed me.
Good luck to you!

Why binging? I just enjoy food. I don't need huge qty to make me feel great. A bite here or there. It does not matter if it is a normal day or Thanksgiving.
I don't get "need binge eat because it is a holiday". Why?
Like "need to get drunk"... Why???
