My food tastes change all the time even after WLS.  I could go through a period where all I want for breakfast is Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt so as soon as it goes on sale I load up on them.  And then no longer want them.   It's a sign.  As soon as I buy a lot of something I will no longer feel like eating it.

Right now my go to is egg custard.  I mix milk and eggs with some vanilla and Splenda and bake in the oven.  I love it warm.  Nice and comforting and good protein, too.

Mash potatoes and/or white rice and a bit of ketchup...i still like that.

If anything, my tastes have become more "odd". I can't think of anything off hand.

lol... I love your avatar/picture for your signature...

I love masked potatoes. I still partake, but thankfully I have been able to have self control to not go overboard!!! I put some unflavored protein powder in them to make me not feel as bad!!!

I love poutine. Chip truck French fries with cheese curse ads and hot beef gravy so the cheese melts. I don't think anything can substitute it so it will be a no go after surgery.

It's quintessentially Canadian! :) :) I think it will have to be a once a year treat in small quantities.  A substitute would be disappointing. And of course that's depending on if I end up with dumping syndrome. :):)

I like to eat scrambled egg with peanut butter.  I consider it a double protein.  So it is a win win

My mother made something she called matzo brie.  Basically fried matzo.  Break up some matzo and soak it in beaten eggs and fry it up.  Eaten with sugar or syrup on top.
