Went from BMI of 63 to 24!!

When I got to size 12, I stocked up on jeans.  Pretty soon they were too big and I only bought 2 pairs in size 10.  Then I got to 8 and stocked up again.

I ended up at size 4 and have stayed there for eight years.  For a while, I hit size 0 at Old Navy, but that was short-lived.

Congratulations and when I changed jobs, I never told anyone at the new company that I had been obese or that I had had surgery.

Congratulations.  That is so awesome. It is weird to think that people you never meet will never know.  I have had people say things like, "you are long and lean and can wear that" or I just had a health screening at work and the guy said, "you have the blood pressure of a teenager and are so healthy."  Oh, if they only knew that was not always the case.

WOW, Melinda!  Congratulations!  I am so happy for you, and so impressed that you have been so dedicated to a new lifestyle.  You are a role model for anyone on OH who thinks it can't be possible.  You must not even recognize yourself in the mirror!  Way to go!

Congratulations!! What an amazing accomplishment!!

When I first started looking around on this site I sought out people that had similar starting weights to mine and you were one of those people. Thank you for sharing your story, I have enjoyed reading your posts and I am inspired by your successes. Knowing that it is possible if I put in the work has been a great motivator and given me a sense of calm heading into surgery that I didn't expect to have. The inspiration I find here from reading about incredible people like yourself has provided some balance for my occasionally overwhelming concerns and anxiety.

I wish you continued success and happiness!!

I did the same - I picked people who had similar starting weights as I did and watched their posts. I found them incredibly inspiring, including their struggles because I could obviously relate to them. It makes me really happy that I can do the same for anyone else.
