As many of you know, clothes shopping has not been enjoyable for the last 5+ years; so I was NOT looking forward to replacing my wardrobe.

Needless to say the time had come after loosing 40+ pounds. So off to Kohls I went. I had purchased a few thing here and there from Goodwill and other consignment shops but this would be my first BIG shopping trip since surgery.

I am happy to say that today was FUN! My husband gave me 100 dollars and told me to spend it all (which was difficult for me) and I had 50$ in Kohls cash. I came home with 6 tops, 4 sweaters, 3 pairs of jeans, a pair of corduroy leggings, and a pair of boots. The best part was trying on a size 6 jeans and it fit!!!!! Also medium tops and boots without extended calf. That's a far cry from 1x tops and size 14 pants.

This just gives me motivation to keep using my tool. The next time I think about having a piece of candy I'll just remember size 6 jeans.

I can't wait to see where this journey takes me
