Sorry for your loss. Take everyone's advice.

Be kind to yourself. You went through a traumatic experience, grieving is a natural part of this process. Depression is natural....feeling loss is natural. But you can get back on track. Start slowly.....calling your surgeon can be step 1. Trying to take a walk everyday can be step 2. Start changing the way you eat...etc etc etc.

I'm sorry for your loss ((())) . There are really good 12 step that help u understand overeating. Over eaters Anonymous probably has groups ( free of charge) that meet in your area. 

Without awareness that overeating is an addiction you might regain what you've lost.  Big hug !
