PreOp News! Yay!

Hello All!

Last time I was here I mentioned I was crazy nervous about my psych eval. Well I just got the call today: I'm approved on the psych part to move forward for surgery! YAY. So happy! 

And since my Dieticien appointment about a month ago, I've been working on protein first and portion control. I've lost 10 pounds! Which may not sound like a lot, but it's been a long time for me. So another yay! 

Also! I was told today that they are hoping to schedule me for surgery as early as January/early February which is significantly sooner than I thought I could get in. But it works out so much better for me to get it in Jan than the summer. So much joy!

Congrats on the good news! I was nervous about the psych eval also. I'm not sure why but once I was approved by psych it seemed like things went very fast. Hope all goes as planned !!

That's good news! I just had my psych eval today and she told me at the very end that she was very proud of me and that she thought I would be a good candidate for surgery. ? 

I'm hoping things move fast as well! Fingers crossed for you!
