I went to a Surgeon covered under my insurance and was told IF I could get it covered (I didn't really have issues) it would only cover about $1000 of the Doctor's fee. That was not enough for me to base my decision on. I also know people in my support groups who are state employees, who have done very well getting coverage. So again insurance and employers plan.
