Hello everyone,

I had my sleeve done on 09/26/16. Since then I've only been able to hand maybe 3 ounces per day. I am constantly battling nauseaand vomiting. I can barely get my water in. I keep getting the slime  and foaming. It's so bad I usually throw up to feel better. I'm down 40lbs since my surgery date. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I the only one?. I'm so miserable and I regret having this surgery.

PLEASE talk to your surgeon.  You should not be throwing up.

The nausea is likely because of dehydration.  You need to get your liquids in.  Call your surgeon - first thing tomorrow.

The slime and foam is almost always due to eating too fast or eating the wrong food types. For me, chicken was an absolute no the first 6 months or I'd vomit every time, but I had no issue with quality steak (not low grade stringy). In many cases, your digestive system just needs time to calibrate itself to the new plumbing inside you.

Obviously checking with your doctor would be a good idea.

My sleeve is 3 weeks old I'm still trying to keep water down. I'm back in the hospital they think it might be my gallbladder. I hope not. I don't want to do another surgery.
