I think the bariatric vitamins for men have 7500 I U of A. I take 40k IU per day., they have 1000 IU of D, I take 100K of D.
So I guess it's a YMMV type thing, but it wouldn't work for me.
Just a quick question. have you seen anyone use the PatchMD long term with success? I just posted this on the DS board asking the same question. All the reviews seem short term users.
I hate taking iron (it's the only suppliment that I mind-because it has to be taken on an empty stomach, separated by 2 hours from calcium), i figure the patch would be easier.
The patch hasn't exist long enough for real long term success - but there are people here who have had success for at least a year.

In July, 2014 my B12 was 295 with range of 211-946
In October, 2015 B12 was 783
In October, 2016 B12 was 1768
The increase was after less than one month of using the multivitamin patch. My surgeon is on the board of the ASMBS.
There is a lot of ASMBS discussion going on about vitamin patches. We seem to absorb some vitamins more quickly from patches than pills. That could be a good thing or could pose a risk of toxic overdoses.
Another concern is that the weight of the patch could not possibly be enough for all of the vitamins it is said to contain. If it really contained all of those vitamins, then there would possibly be a big risk of overdosing.
The patch is new territory. Some people are having good results, but most surgeons and clinics are not recommending them yet.
