Stalls come and go, but this one has been so long. That on of the reasons I've been avoiding coming on here. I have not lost weight in 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so depressing. I've done every suggestion I've been given and still I'm the same weight. The only thing I haven't done is contact a trainer...mainly because I can't afford to. But I amped up my workout, and nothing.....zip.....zilch.

How damn frustrating is this! I really don't want to accept this is it for the weight loss. I feel like I should have more to go. But what if I don't  I honestly feel like I am going crazy with this. It's like my every thought

In the two months of time have you done any measuring?  Losing is not always measured in pounds.. Yes, it is what most base everything on, but not what all counts.  Even with amping up your workouts, have you tried doing other things such as yoga, Pilates or something toning based? Keep up on the moving forward even if your lbs are not cooperating.. It will kick in at some point.

I'm no vet, but from what I always see posted, you need to look at what you're eating.

You can't out-exercise your intake of food.

Post your menu, and things you regularly eat so that people can have an idea of where you are.

Not losing for 2 months means you are in maintenance.  To lose more weight you will have to cut calories.  Multiply your current weight by 10 and that is the number of calories to stay at that weight.  Subtract 500 calories a day to drop one pound a week.

I maintain at 1400 calories a day and lose at 900 calories a day.

Great info, but I don't think that's gonna for me cause I'm 188 currently....which means by those calculations I should be eating almost 1400 calories a day. I only eat about 800 a day now.

Are you certain? Are you weighing your food and logging really carefully? Every bite?

If you are really eating 800 calories, keep doing it. You'll do fine. It isn't always a straight line.

No to maintain 188 pounds you need a minimum of 1880 calories a day.  Talk with a dietitian about how to measure your food and count calories correctly.

If I ate 1800 calories a day I would gain. I'm two month out and I eat 750 cal/day.   I weigh and measure everything.  I haven't lost an ounce in days.  I tend to lose 1-2 pounds a week.   But on 750 calories, I'm discouraged.

You are not going to lose everyday even early out. Not losing in a few days is not a stall. Everyone is different and weight loss isn't always a steady line.

Early out most important things are fluids and protein. Get as much as you can of both.
