This is the top rated scale according to Cook's Illustrated -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018WKLWAG/
And this is their "best buy" -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004164SRA/
I'd get the one that works best with your budget. I have one that's like the best buy option and have had it for years - well before surgery, since it's super useful for cooking regardless of WLS.
As for blender - what do you think you'll be using it for? I've never needed an actual blender for anything. However, I use my stick blender and mini chopper almost every time I cook, and I used it for the pureed stage -- https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KHB2351CU-3-Speed-Hand-Ble nder/dp/B005MMNBBQ/
For protein shakes, I use protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, and a blender bottle -- https://www.amazon.com/Blender-Bottle-Shaker-Ball-Black/dp/B 00FZOX2FG/ -- they mix well and are dishwasher safe.
I hope this helps!

Don't spend money on an expensive blender, IMO. You'll only be eating purees for a few weeks at most, so you can get by with a cheap one from Wal-Mart. I got mine from Goodwill, actually, and I'm glad I only spent four bucks on it.
