I've flown once since Rny but not in almost a year. On a plane now and wow what a difference. LOOK how much seatbelt I have left after I fasten it! I always asked for an extender when I boarded to avoid embarrassment after I sat down.

Haha, love it.  I took a very similar picture the first time I flew post-op.  "OMG, look at all this extra seatbelt!!"

Be careful. You can trip on that belt now, the end is hanging down so far.

I never asked for an extender. I bought my own so I wouldn't have to ask.

Congratulations!!

Airport/airplane victories are the BEST, in my opinion.  Using the toilet...a breeze, walking down the aisle not having to turn sideways, crossing your legs, no more worrying if you'll get a nice person next to you because of the inevitable "spill over..." walking through terminals, stuck in middle seat, no problem.  The list goes on...

Not only that, look at all that extra space on the seat!!  Those seats are so damn small..but you've got room to spare.

I'm actually looking forward to my flight next week and not just because I get to go meet some of my favorite OH peeps. I love being able to fit easily into a seat now.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
