Wasting Away??? NSVs attached!!

So just now I was in the kitchen cutting up my lunch (2oz of ribeye and a nice grilled shrimp) when one of the Directors, that I seldom converse with past the 'Hellos' in the hallway walked in... He looked at me and said "Well you are just wasting away on us, aren't you?"

Wasting away... WASTING AWAY??? MEEEEEEE????

I answered something like "Well that's the point, well maybe not wasting completely away LOL" and he told me that it must be working for me... then asked what I'm eating, and I was like PROTEIN BABY!  

Now I don't know if he knows about my surgery. While I haven't hidden it, and my boss knows (my boss reports to this guy) and a few other people, I don't know if anyone actually told this guy.

Either way, it made me FEEL GOOOOOOOD! 

Another note... today I hit a new Goodwill... and today I found these boots (only in black)! NOT wide calf! And brand new/ or very close to it! Along with a few shirts to get me through the heat wave here in OK before the nasty cold sets in... SCORE!

Wow - great NSV.  Love the boots.  I hate pantyhose so I usually go straight from sandals to boots.  I'm not a fan of cold weather, but do like boots and sweaters.  My most recent NSV - at my place of worship, a person who has been out of the country for a few months saw me, shook my hand, held on to it and said "Looking good, looking real good."  Actually made me a bit uncomfortable, but I know him well and am sure he really did mean it as a compliment.

Yes, sometimes the compliments border on creepy, don't they?! LOL At least you know the guy and you can relax about it

I couldn't believe it!!!!

I was strutting because I was wearing a pair of size 6!!! Kut from the kloth jeans and I looked good - lol or at least I think I did! wait for friday photo!!

the other weird thing i noticed was that the men were looking to see my nametag, like they should know who I was hahaha

they told me i looked amazing and for the first time in my life, I agreed with them! take that!

And you SHOULD have been strutting around in a size 6!!! Take That! POW!

i totally forgot to talk about your boots!!

I love them- I need some black ones because I only have one pair of black boots and they are the suede furry lined ones. and I would like some regular leather ones with a little heel.

I have 3 pair of boots from years past, but they are all Lane Bryant Wide Calf... I'm sure I could continue to wear them this year,,, but um... I'm not going to! I'm handing them down to a good friend of mine who had a liver transplant 1.5 years ago. Since then she's gained a bit of weight and I'm happily sending the boots along with most of my clothes.

I will replace my boots with regular calf ones, and I too shall strut in them (even if I won't be in a size 6 this winter! LOL)
