Hi Everyone!

I'm a big reader / researcher type and I'm wondering if anyone has any good book selections they would recommend? I'm almost ready to submit to insurance so I'm using this time to learn and try to prepare myself mentally for after surgery. I'm currently reading a book by Dr Warren Huberman called Through Thick & Thin: The Emotional Journey of Weight Loss Surgery. I'm finding that I am highlighting a lot of lines that feel like they fit me or are good advice. Has anyone else read this? If so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Joy

"Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" is the best book I've come across, it's got a great overview and covers pretty much everything.

I second Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies.

Also think essential reading is The Emotional First Aid Kit by Cynthia Alexander.

I had the Sleeve and found Dr. Duc Vuong "Ultimate Gastric Sleeve Success" was and continues to be my go to book even at 2 years out.

If you click on my name or icon you can find the book list of what I read before/after my RNY.  There are many books - I also keep reading to stay current and focused.
