NSV & bargain find

i've had good luck finding coats at the thrift store. Today i got a Calvin Klein performance jacket, new with tags, for $30. It's a size SMALL. It's definitely snug, I'd have to take breaths cautiously with it zipped LOL, but it feels good unzipped. Size SMALL-- wow! Last summer I remember buying a 1x coat from the thrift store that was snug then. (I still have it- it wraps me like a robe now)

Then, My son (13, slightly taller than me and about 45# less) said it looked like his size-- he put it on and it actually fits me better than it fit him! The sleeves were short on him. I can't believe there would ever be a day where my child and I would be similarly sized. 

Keep zipping up & sucking it in.  Before you know it, this jacket will be swimming on you as well.  Enjoy your new find while you can - terrific deal. The good thing about regular sizes is that it doesn't cost anywhere as much to replace wardrobe as the plus sizes.

Congrats! I know that I definitely bought things that were snug just to buy them in a certain size bahaha. I still do that occasionally, I find it motivating but only do it if it's on a really good bargain like that too.

Awesome!!! I have a pair of jeans I keep trying on....they fit, but are a bit too snug. Soon they will be too loose :)

I'm wearing jeans that are 3 sizes smaller than my largest 26w's.  Yep, they're snug, but I'm wearing the heck out of them!

Great story!   I love putting on some of my old clothes and feeling them slosh around me.  Also just bought some shorts in a size to me which was unbelievable this weekend!  Gota love seeing those sizes that make no sense feel just right on you! :-)  Great NSV.
