Big NSV!

I have always, always wanted a pair of knee-high boots. But have never been able to get them because I couldn't find any that fit my extremely fat calves. Even the wide, wide leg boots didn't fit. I ordered from Lane Bryant and many online retailers looking for the right ones over the years and they never worked for me. I definitely cried over this - which I know was kind of stupid but I really tried to look cute and stylish even though I was 377 pounds, which I'm pretty sure you guys can understand was seriously hard to do!

Today I tried on a pair randomly and they TOTALLY FIT!

My calves are still pretty fat so I was surprised. This is so great! I didn't buy them because they were really expensive and not on sale but I know what I'll be stalking sale sites for now.

So cute.  I remember the first day I could fit into high calf boots and splurged on two pairs that day.

I totally get wanting to wear knee-high boots and feeling frustration over not being able to.

I love them by the way! Congratulations... a great NSV for sure! I can imagine cute skirts and opaque leggings to go with them.

Ooh, I was thinking skinny jeans but I would get so much more wear out of a skirt and leggings at work. I can't even wait to find a great outfit!

I love mine with skinny jeans, leggings and dresses and skirts but my favorite comfy and stylish ware is sweater dresses .

You go girl! What an awesome feeling .. I can totally relate! Some still don't fit my calves but most do now. I'm proud for you !

Ps. Your calves don't look still big.

Haha, thanks. I need the wide calf boots so they're big but whatever, I don't care!

I saw a sweater dress in the store last week and I thought omg, I can maybe wear one of those this year and look cute. I'm going to need to curb y buying impulses lol. I LOVE fall/winter clothes so much :)

I wear mine with dresses and skirts in the winter with patterned hosiery.

Forgive me for this, I'm a newbie. What does NSV stand for.

Hi Roed - nothing to forgive. I didn't know what it meant at first either!

NSV = non-scale victory, meaning a non number related victory that happened such as me being able to fit into these boots :) There are many, many, many!
