So I'm almost 3 months post op. When I get up too fast in get dizzy.  Tonight while bathing my daughter I was sitting on the floor next to the tub and I was  literally seeing stars. Like u would be for u pass out. Anyone ever experience this? What causes this?

Google orthostatic hypotension . It could be caused by several things including b12 deficiencies or dehydration. It's fairly common . Google can tell you more but that's what it's called

There are lots of things that can cause this, some minor and some serious. Skip Google and call your surgeon's office first thing in the morning. They can ask questions over the phone and help you figure out if this is a "do X, Y, and Z and we'll take a look at your next checkup" situation or a "yeah, let's make you an appointment for today and get this checked out ASAP" deal.

My first guess would be that if it hasn't happened again, and you're drinking lots of water in the meantime, you'll probably be fine. But I'm not a medical person, so don't quote me on it ;)

Increase your water. Like Sheri said, dehydration can be a major culprit. It's always a good idea to check with your doctor, but increasing fluids cannot hurt.

I developed this after surgery and still get it and I'm 5 years out. I actually passed out once and when I went to the docs they determined that my blood pressure was dropping when I stood up causing me to get dizzy. Perhaps get a blood pressure machine and track your BP. Then you can have some #s for your doc and they might be able to assist better.

Checking BP is a great idea. You could even use the machines that you find at the drugstore or grocery store, I use those to keep an eye on mine.
